Re:Conet c

Is my attempt to open source an album where the entire process of creation is open and accessible to the audience.
This includes the release of samples, patches, software developed during the project, scores and guides on how to make each track, early mixes and mastering of the tracks. See massive bonus tracks section here.

Project is documented on my instagram feed under #reconetc www.instagram.com/explore/tags/reconetc/
and includes videos from the creation of audio works/tracks as well as sound pack, Max patches, Pure data(pd) patches, ORCΛ algorithms and VCV Rack patches used in the album.

With this project, I also aimed at revisiting, reconnecting various bits of software, hardware and establishing new workflows.
The focus was on incorporating open source tools hence heaps of patches and content included. I have also included keymap for Preonic keyboard I have used in my jams and SysEx files for Elektron Digitone and Analog Rytm.
I consider this a living project so patches/software will be updated in the future, new versions will be added as well on my Github. Here is the link: github.com/koshimazaki/Re-Conet_c

This album also highlights work of mixing and mastering engineers that is not so apparent in typical releases. That is why I encourage you to listen to all the versions of each track. This will reveal the journey of each piece and the effects of that work so please do check the bonus section added here.

Mixes are by Nathan Moody, Roel Funcken, Benny Tones and Tiny Triumph Recordings(Toby Lloyd).
Mastering was done by Bob Macc at Subvert Mastering.

The project was generously funded by Creative New Zealand via Arts Continuity Grant and wouldn't be possible without this support.

Big thanks for support from Robert and Andrzej from Looptrotter, Cenk and Thomas from Elektron,
Wowa and Maho from Cwejman Japan/AB, Mathias from Faderfox and the whole Qu-bit Electronix crew.

Thanks to developers of awesome open-source software I used: VCV Rack, ORCΛ, Pure data(pd).
